| Along with the promotion of "water pollution prevention action plan" and “coordinated development for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region”,there are new priorities that ecological suitability assessment and the division of ecological function area are implemented in the water resources management currently.However,the ecological suitability assessment with the fundamental purpose of protecting the water source of major strategic projects areas is still in its infancy in China.So a set of feasible schemes is pivotal for the protection of water resources ecological suitability evaluation and protection strategies.As a consequence,the following four issues had been explored.(1)In order to evaluate the ecological status and utilization of regional land and key construction land,crucial indicators were purposefully screened for the water sources in three levels of area,the Yanghe basin,Chongli and the typical engineering construction area,based on regional ecological survey.For the multiple purposes of land use,ecoenvironmental protection and water quality management,an indicator system was set up considering natural and social economic factors.To evaluate the ecological suitablity of social economical development in the 2022 Winter Olympic construction area and its basin,the drivers of ecological suitability of water resouce was explored systematically to offer scientific evidences for ecological planning the construction in the basin.Moreover,indicators were selected to evaluate the ecosystem loss.(2)To explore water ecological carrying capacity,which is based on water resources,environmental conditions,and socioeconomic factors,16 indicators were selected to analyze the multivariate coupling effect of water ecological carrying capacity and to quantify correlations between this effect and related driving factors.A particle swarm optimization gravitational search algorithm-projection pursuit(PSOGSA-PP)model with a function of multiple drivers was established to evaluate water ecological carrying capacity.The Beijing-Tianjin-Ji(Hebei)region was chosen as a case study for analyzing the drivers of ecological benefits of regional water resources and water quality and for maximizing the associated economic and social benefits,as well as to put forward the corresponding protection strategy.(3)Based on the case study of the water source area in Northern Mountain Area,the specific methods of ecological suitability assessment of water source area was illustrated.Through literature research and field sampling analysis,we set up a four-hierarchy scientific and comprehensive indexes system according to the concepts of ecological structure,ecological function and ecological dynamics,including 3 secondary indicators,11 third-level index and 14-17 fourth-level index.The second grade index mainly describes three aspects of ecosystem structure,function and dynamics.The third class indicators mainly consider the conditions under different scales of ecological suitability assessment of common evaluation factors,while the four-grade index aims at the Yanghe River watershed,Chongli construction area and the Olympic training field in different scales.(4)In this paper,the integrated ecological resistance model(IER),analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and ArcGIS spatial analysis are applied for ecological suitability evaluation regarding the Winter Olympic courts.The proportions of the key construction areas,the suitable construction areas,the construction areas,the restricted construction areas and the forbidden construction area to the total area of the Yanghe River River Basin were 19.06%,20.48%,39.90%,19.11%,and 1.45% respectively.As for the key construction zone in Chongli,the proportions for key construction area,the suitable construction area,construction area,construction area and construction area restrictions in Chongli District were 0.78%,6.61%,42.41%,41.24% and 8.96% respectively,owing to their location of engineering construction and strategic position.Concerning the ski construction,the ecological loss is different among areas,and the losses are 16.94%,4.76%,1.78%,4.55% and 0.56% for ecological protection areas,infrastructure,service facilities,operating area of the main construction area and the service system construction project area respectively.This paper presents the mountainous water resource ecological suitability evaluation method based on the study above,which lays infarctate emphasis concerning multi-scale ecological suitability evaluation in the mountainous area and the ecological loss in the emblematical area under anthropogenic disturbance(Winter Olympics ski).Regarding the utilization,protection and sustainable development of water resources,the protection strategies are proposed as a theoretical and technical support for the Winter Olympics ski. |
