Because single column pier girder bridge has advantages in aspects of structure and cost,so they are widely used in highway and city interchange hub.In recent years,as caused by a lack of design theory,combined with the possible and partial overload phenomenon,it has appeared around the number of the whole side of the single column pier beam bridge body double rollover accidents.At present,many provinces city of countrywide treat on some technical problems in the single column pier Bridges for special projects,it requires for all under construction and has been operating stability screening and checking calculation of single column pier Bridges,and to repair the bridge reinforcement.Under this social background demand,in order to design and construction of single column pier girder bridge to provide certain theoretical basis,and for the detection and reinforcement of the single column pier girder bridge to provide some data to guide,to improve the quality of the construction of a single column pier girder bridge,extend the standing of the single column pier girder bridge,save transportation construction investment,this paper use a xiangxi freeway on-ramp single column pier girder bridge as the backing,analysis the overturning stability properties of the single column pier girder bridge and the reinforcement measures.1.Through analysis the basic mechanical characteristics of single column pier girder bridge,this paper outlines introduce the common forms and characteristics,commonly used form of bridge pier of single column pier girder bridge bearings.By analyzing the disease cause of bridge,finding out the risk source of single column pier girder bridge and its typical failure mode.2.Through the project example,use the finite element software Midas Civil modeling and calculation analysis,find out the curve beam bridge bearing the basis rule,and factors which influence the stability of curve beam bridge rigidity have carried on the detailed discussion,the several factors as follow: Single bearing pre eccentricity,Double bearing spacing,Bridge plane curve radius of curvature.When calculating the pier eccentric compression bearing capacity,the overturning axis were selected and concluding that the calculation method of overturning coefficient of axis,to calculate the structure stabilitycoefficient of different radius of curvature and double bearing spacing.it proves that deal with these factors rightly,can effectively prevent the curve bridge bearing road.the phenomenon and move climb phenomenon.3.This paper introduce several reinforcement methods of bridge structure,and in view of the single column pier girder bridge summarizes some methods as follow :adding cover beam method,pier reinforcement method,set the bar method,limit the girder radial displacement method.And applicable condition of several methods for the induction.Finally,this paper analysis the selection of different bearing arrangement of force,when calculating the consolidation pier bearing capacity and the different structure stability coefficient of the bearing arrangement.
