Currently, most of the ultrasonic transducers array is cylindrical structure. Each cylinder in the flow field is equivalent to a vortex generator. Different wind speed and spacing between cylinders devote different Reynolds numbers.The form of turbulent flow around cylinder changes, and the field distribution of wind measuring is not stable. It causes the source deviation of information collection for wind measurement. Weaken the turbulent wind interference of wind path, reduce the effects of turbulence on the signal acquisition accuracy, improving precision of ultrasonic wind measuring . has important theoretical significance and application value in the field of meteorological observation.Transducers arrays are analyzed on the influencing factors of wind field in this paper, and improved ultrasonic sensors array, deduced the formula of wind speed and direction.By simulation, two kinds structures are compared, and the modified array reduces the influence of turbulence on wind measuring accuracy,and is more steady.In the end, wind measuring experiment platform is established.The concrete research content is as follows:This new array consist of six transceiver integrated ultrasonic transducers and three independent paths .According to the different flow direction, wind speed calculation model was established, combining the working characteristics of transducer chip so as to improve the design of wind array and reduce the effect of shadows.By using FLUENT software, several typical arrays ,such as modified array,crossing array, and tower structure array, are modeled, and wind area in the array are dispersed highly by meshing.This article analyzes the flow field distribution features in the array by changing Reynolds number, wind speed and direction through the FLUENT software. With the analysis of the contour maps and speed curves,the datum of wind measuring paths in this new array meet the requirements of precision. At the same time, through the simulation analysis, we found that when the air flow goes around the transducers array and the surrounding flow field distribution changed.Dense array, the more cylinders , enhance the coupling between transducers,and also exacerbated turbulence.These results in the decrease of the precision.The study provides reference for the wind array miniaturization design.According to the working principle of improved array , measurement circuit was designed, and the experimental platform was set up based on time difference method. Through the test in the actual wind field, analyzed the differences of time of flight of paths, verified the turbulence effects on accuracy of wind measuring,and provide the reference for the design of high precision ultrasonic wind measuring system.
