The current energy and environmental crisis has forced countries to actively seek solutions to support the development of the electric vehicle industry as an important measure to alleviate the current crisis, which is highly valued by governments. However, the current development of charging service facilities lags behind the development of electric vehicles, has become an important factor restricting its development, the rapid development of a number of charging service facilities for the promotion of electric vehicles is of great significance. For the construction of charging stations, the layout of the site is reasonable directly affect the quality of service, and then affect the development of the electric vehicle industry.In this paper, based on the background of the city electric vehicle charging station layout optimization research.First of all, this paper introduces the types of electric vehicles and their advantages compared with traditional fuel vehicles, and gives a detailed description of the charging mode of electric vehicles. This paper analyzes the influencing factors of the location selection of electric vehicle charging stations and the principles of site selection, and introduces several classical location theory models, and analyzes the applicable objects, advantages and disadvantages.Then, the elastic coefficient method is used to forecast the number of charging piles in Huangdao District of Qingdao. Through the analysis of the characteristics of the electric car travel, according to the gravity model of each traffic zone between the traffic impedance of trip generation, trip attraction strength,strength to do a quantitative, and the parameters involved in the calibration,prediction of electric cars each traffic zone out for distribution. At last, according to the peak hourly flow rate, the demand of each district is predicted.Finally, combining the influence factors of charging station location, the charging station location to make reasonable assumptions, in limiting the size of charging facilities is established under the condition to charge the total time location model at least, and using genetic algorithm. This paper takes Huangdao district as the research object, and uses MATLAB programming to find the optimal location of charging stations and the allocation of charging piles under the condition of charging facilities. Through the study found that, in the premise of charging time constant,increasing the total number of charging pile, charging station layout components scattered trend, in a certain range, when increasing the total charge pile system, total time decreased significantly, the marginal benefit significantly improved, should ensure that the appropriate charging station construction. The example proves the validity of the model, and it can be used as reference for the layout of the charging station.
