With climate warming, heavy rains, floods and other meteorological disasters occur frequently, which bring more and more serious damage to the social economic system for their complex and strong relationship. How to assess the direct and indirect economic losses caused by meteorological disasters to the region and related industrial, and take appropriate measures to the relevant departments and regions based on the results of the assessment? Which become a hot and difficult issue for the government's disaster prevention department, regional government, industry and the public. An economic losses evaluation information system of rainstorm waterlogging disasters in cities is introduced. The system integrated multiple subjects such as meteorology, disaster, information science, and economics science. As a man-machine interactive system includes basic function, information query, data management, economic loss assessment, assessment report generation, user rights management and system management function modules, this system is made follow the way of 'WYSIWYG'. In the which, direct economic losses and indirect economic losses are calculated by Input-output Model. Combined with the weather true information, this system can report the real-time direct and indirect economic losses of rainstorm waterlogging disasters,automatically generate defense countermeasure reports in typical waterlogged points, and provide the spatial distribution of disasters and economic loss. The system has many advantages as followes: it integrates rich basic data, and adopts the practical methods of disaster economic loss evaluation, the geographical scope is fine and the spatial resolution is high, this system automatically generates typical flood disaster prevention countermeasures. Finally, the system is conducive to improve the ability of disaster emergency management of government departments and reduce the economic losses from the disaster eventually, and the research methods used can provide the reference for the similar disaster economic loss assessment.
