The reactor is one of the most common chemical unit operation equipment in the process industry, and stirred reactors are widely used in food, paper making,chemical industry, metallurgy, pharmacy, petroleum and other industrial fields.Stiring is one of the main processes of mixing, transfer and reaction. It is of great significance to optimize the performance of the stirred tank reactor by fully grasp the law of fluid distribution in stirred reactor. With the rapid development of computational fluid dynamics CFD and high performance computing technology, the CFD method has been used to study the flow characteristics of stirred reactor. This paper designed and built a platform based on LabVIEW and 32 bit microprocessor STM32 as the controller of the stirring speed and torque control system of torque and speed of the mixing process were collected, and CFD numerical simulation and the results of the comparative analysis. The upper computer of the system is designed and developed by LabVIEW software, and the bottom control unit is designed and developed by STM32 processor STM32F103VCT6, and all the elements in the bottom layer communicate with the host computer through the RS232 MODBUS protocol.The application of CFD technology, the three inclined blade type stirrer (YK),six inclined blade type stirrer (XK), six inclined blade turbine agitator (ZY) and three kinds of impellers with or without mixing characteristics of baffle and different speed under the condition of CFD numerical simulation, obtained three kinds of impeller for axial flow, and the ZY type propeller shaft flow phenomenon is the most obvious; in the baffle case, power consumption of the largest type ZY type propeller.The experimental results are in good agreement with the numerical simulation results.The maximum error is less than 10.5%. The driving torque and power of the stirred reactor can be calculated by numerical simulation. It is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the fluid and mechanical characteristics of stirred tank by using the method of experiment and numerical simulation. It can provide a reference for the optimization design and scale-up research of this kind of reactor,and has certain reference value for production practice.
