Crop corn stalk was one of the main sources of biomass resource and its contains were very rich, inexhaustible, inexhaustible. It could become the ideal alternative to traditional resources because of its unlimited, renewable and clean. Most of the current crop of corn straw due to lack of effective utilization and burned in farmland, which not only wasted a lot of energy, but also caused serious pollution to the environment. To a certain extent, it brought bad influence to the development of social economy and human life. The technology of atmospheric pressure catalytic liquefaction was a highly efficient and comprehensive utilization of biomass resources, which greatly improved the utilization value of biomass. It was a thermochemical process for converting biomass into liquid mixtures of various molecular weights under the mild conditions of atmospheric pressure, temperature (150?180 ?) and the effect of catalyst and liquefaction agent. Ethylene glycol(EG), glycerol (GL), polyethylene glycol (PEG) and mixed solvent could be used as liquefaction agent to prepare biomass liquefaction, the liquefaction products could be used in the preparation of coatings, adhesives, polyurethane foam and other chemical products. In this experiment, the corn stalk powder was used as raw material, concentrated phosphoric acid as catalyst, mixed polyol and ethylene carbonate as liquefaction agent, catalytic liquefaction experiment of corn straw was ongoing in the autoclave at 180?.Three different mixed liquefaction agent of polyethylene glycol compound ethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol compound ethylene carbonate and polyethylene glycol compound glycerin on the effect of liquefaction rate and biomass oil product performance were examined. The liquefaction residue and liquefied products were characterized by GC-MS, FT-IR,TGA and SEM.The experimental results showed that stalk liquefied product yield was 97.83% in the mixed solvent liquefaction of polyethylene glycol and glycol, ethylene carbonate and polyethylene glycol mixed liquefaction, the yield was 93.33%,polyethylene glycol with glycerol mixed liquefaction yield was 88.9%.The results of GC-MS analysis showed that the composition of liquefied products was very complex, and the highest content of three kinds of liquefied products were alcohols and organic acids. The results of FT-IR analysis showed that the mixture of polyethylene glycol and ethylene glycol had the best liquefaction effect, also used as the liquefying agent to degrade cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin.TGA analysis showed that when the mixture of polyethylene glycol and ethylene glycol was used as liquefaction agent, the heat loss rate was the lowest and liquefaction effect was the best.SEM analysis showed that the surface morphology of the liquefaction residue and corn stalk was completely different, the internal structure of the stalk was destroyed, the residue could not see the fiber structure completely and the stalk was liquefied basically.
