With the development of civil aviation,the safety of civil aviation transportation has become a very important problem for many organizations and departments.Navigation technology is the key to ensure the safety of civil aviation transportation,but also the basis of civil aviation.The navigation system has evolved from the early visual navigation and developed by various navigation systems such as Instrument Landing System,VOR Navigation System,Microwave Landing System,TACON System and so on.However,in the research process of multi-mode navigation system,it is difficult to do dynamic testing for hardware equipment in the system,generally need the plane to fly several times to complete the test.The test cost is extremely high,the repeatability is bad,and it is also dangerous,so it is urgent to realize the dynamic test in the laboratory environment.According to the above situation,this paper studies and realizes the key technology of multi-mode navigation 3D visual simulation,which is intended to provide the real-time data needed for the dynamic measurement of multi-mode navigation system hardware equipment.First of all,according to the requirements of visual simulation on the immersion and real-time of 3D model,the construction method of 3D model is studied deeply,on the basis of ensure the exquisite real 3D model,then control model rendering frame rate at around60 frames per second.The OSGEarth terrain rendering toolkit is used to generate the 3D visual digital earth model which covers the whole world.Secondly,under the environment of OSG 3D rendering engine,the 3D visualization simulation platform with human-computer interaction is realized based on Microsoft Basic Class Library.According to the actual situation of aircraft flight,the key data of the flight route is obtained,and the six-freedom degrees of the aircraft is simulated by the corner smoothing and interpolation.Using the simulated data to drive the aircraft,the whole process and phased flight simulation are realized,and providing real-time data for dynamic testing of multi-mode navigation system hardware devices.Finally,after satisfying the basic simulation requirements,it is necessary to achieve a morerealistic visualization effect,including the use of robots to browse the scene and the aircraft model tracking display,the use of single-view multi-camera way to add thumbnails in the scene,the use of particle system to show the rain,snow and other natural effects and aircraft tail flame effect.The 3D visual simulation platform can meet the requirements of immersion,interactivity and real-time.The frame rate can reach 60 frames per second in 3D visual simulation.The dynamic test of multi-mode navigation hardware equipment is realized in the laboratory environment.
