As the development of a series of technologies which content stealth technology used in underwater equipments and weapon platforms, marine resources intelligentized detection, and informatization applying, the detecting range and accuracy of traditional monostatic sonar platform can not satisfied the demands. So, nowadays, research centrality is transformed to multi-platform sonar detecting network which can share workspace and complement information platform resources. The main idea of this paper is to detect and locate the target in the situation that plenty of platforms in the same water circumstance.This paper can be introduced as three main parts. Various locating methods which are used in double-based sonar situation and triple-based sonar situation are discussed in the first part. When using multi-platform sonar to detect targets by cooperating with each other, there will be strong direct sound disturbing and co-frequency multisource signal disturbing. So, the second part of this paper will discuss how to restrain the above disturbs. During the last section, developing a kind of software which is used to detecting targets with multi-platform sonar cooperating with each other is introduced.In the first part, the locating theory based on double-base sonar system is discussed and the locating accuracy expression of different locating algorithm used in double-base sonar system. And the Geometric distribution of locating accuracy is used to express locating accuracy , at the mean time, the impact of sonar system locating accuracy is analyzed when using different system references. Then, the first part also contents the locating methods which base on linear least square method and data fusion algorithm in triple-base sonar system, and the analysis of the factor which can affect the property of locating algorithms.When using multi-platform sonar to detect targets by cooperating with each other, there will be strong direct sound disturbing and co-frequency multisource signal disturbing. So, the second part of this paper will discuss how to restrain the above disturbs. When the disturbing exists, the fixed beam-forming can't adjust the weight vector self-adaption accordance with the changes of environment, it can't form null point deep enough self-adaption. So the strong disturbing can't be restrained. So it will impact the performance of detection. On the base of Certain operation guidelines .the beam-forming self-adaption find a best filtering process and a best weight vector to restrain the power of disturbs and noise on the base of ensureing the power is constant value. So, the part of this paper will use MVDR to restrain the direct disturbs. TRM could reduce the influence of multiplicity channel without priori knowledge. It have property to compression time and Space focus. So the paper use TRM to restrain co-frequency multisource signal. It can distinguish the co-frequency multisource signals which are close on arriving time and arriving direction.During the last section, paper analyzes detecting performance index of cooperating detection using multi-platform sonar system, and simulates some condition of multi-platform sonar system like quality factor of detecting targets, detecting probability and range. Combine with the locating algorithm mentioned before , the efficiency forecasting software of multi-platform sonar system cooperated detecting is developed.
