Underwater target tracking techniques is an important application field of the target tracking theory. The existence of the strong coherence interference will result in the failure of the target tracking. Therefore the strong coherence interference suppression is one of the key technological difficulties in underwater target tracking. The article mainly analyse research on the strong coherence interference suppression algorithm and the underwater target tracking technology, then verifies the performances of them by pool test.1 .Firstly the article gives an introduction to the theory of zero constraint beamforming based on zero constraint condition, the basic principle of second-order cone algorithm and the usage of its toolbox. It verifies the performances of the zero constraint beamforming algorithm and the beam pattern optimisation algorithm based on SOCP in strong coherence interference suppression by computer simulation, then compare the performances of the two algorithms.2.The article does an impact analysis of the random array phase error and array amplitude error on the properities of the strong coherence inference suppression algorithms.With the existence of random array error, the influence of INR size and SNR size to the main-to-side lobe ratio is discussed. The error tolerance range of the two algorithms under different INR and SNR is also discussed.3.Aimed at solving the problem of simple underwater target tracking with uniform straight line motion, the article does an analysis on the filtering estimation algorithms, the track initiation algorithms and the data association algorithms by computer simulation. The advatanges,disadvantages,and the suitable condition for every algorithm are also dicussed.4.The article verifies the performances of the strong coherence interfence suppression algorithms and underwater target tracking algorithm by pool test. The results of imaging and comparison in azimuth spectrum are given. Finally the result of underwater target tracking is given with the existence of the strong coherent interference.
