| ME series diesel engine as a MAN B&W company new generation of diesel engine compared with the traditional MC series diesel engine has a good fuel economy,compact overall structure and longer maintenance period, lower maintenance cost, etc, has been widely recognized by the market.Cylinder cover uplifted failure occasionally occur in the process of ME diesel engine running. Such failures affect the diesel engine test security ,and leading loss of components,seriously influence the company production of diesel engines, also increase the manufacture cost. Hydraulic control system are analyzed according to ME-C series diesel engine cylinder uplifted failures in this paper. It is concluded that failures may be caused by proportional valve jammed due to system clean problems aftermaterial physical and chemical analysis was studied for the hydraulic system impurities. Statics calculation was studied for the cylinder cover uplifted pressure on ME series diesel engine. It is concluded that the critical cylinder pressure when the cylinder cover uplifted. The fuel system and cylinder combustion simulation analysis research was carried out, find out the theory of the cylinder cover uplifted.Through physical and chemical analysis research of dismantled impurities and failure mechanism analysis were found out for diesel engine cylinder cover uplifted fault. The results showed that engine failure was due to abnormal injection and exhaust timing caused by jammed FIVA proportional valve, and led to extremely high in-cylinder pressure and cylinder cover was uplifted.For directly reason that external impurities caused FIVA valve and proportional valve jammed, optimizing hydraulic cylinder unit (HCU) parts flushing process and adding sandwich filter in front of the valve. Reducing the proportional valve jammed risk at the running beginning, improve the reliability of the ME product. |
