Glass curtain wall is widely used in building surface,especially in high-rise buildings.It is independent of the main building,with self-support capabilities.With the appearance of a good visual effect,it has been favored by more and more building designers.There are many advantages of glass curtain wall.Firstly,it has a beautiful appearance.Secondly,it possesses a good lighting performance which will reduce the energy consumption.So,it is in line with the current trend of architectural design.At the same time,the glass curtain wall of the building can also protect the whole building with the capacity of water resistance and thermal insulation.However,the glass curtain wall still has many issues to be resolved.Firstly,the choice of material for the glass curtain wall,the demand of glass curtain wall with low cost,high energy,strong waterproof and firepro·of increases strongly.Secondly,the development of glass curtain wall starts lately in China,so there are many problems to be solved.For example,the design specification of glass curtain wall need to be systematic,and the quality supervision mechanism urgently need to be improved.In addition,China has built a large number of buildings with glass curtain wall nowadays,followed by the accidents caused by their instability,which lead to a serious threat to the lives and property of the people.In this case,we have to have a research on the prediction means and the method of their stability analysis,as well as the stability real time monitoring system.Based on the above description,this paper will combine with the testing engineering of Haier glass curtain wall.And then,we will analysis its stability from the following aspects:(1)Combine with the testing engineering of Haier glass curtain wall,analyze the problems which exist in its design,construction and post-process quality supervision,and then discusses the rationality of the glass curtain wall from its design specification and lately improvement.After all of this,we will put forward own proposals for its improvement;(2)Analysis the application of Artificial Neural Networks in the engineering practice,discussing the feasibility of BP neural network in the glass curtain wall engineering application,and the problems need to be overcome.Then,this paper uses the glass curtain wall project as an example.We have a research on the glass curtain wall neural network input layer,a hidden layer and output layer content,and then build the BP neural network model,select the appropriate training samples training with the numerical software MATLAB.With the BP neural network after training,we input the sample data to predict the stability of the glass curtain wall,verify their reliability;(3)Learning the finite element analysis method and its application in engineering,and then we will use the finite element analysis software ANSYS to build the analysis model of the glass curtain wall.By this analysis model,we will have a research on the stress and strain of glass curtain wall under wind loads.Then,we need to have a compare of the data obtained by the analysis of the finite element model and the actual data,and then analysis the causing of their differences.And then the stability of the glass curtain wall is verified by finite element analysis simulation method is feasible.Finally,we have a summary on the achievements of this paper and prospects to the future research work.This research can provide a reference for the later research on glass curtain wall.
