This paper designs the system of Steer-by-Wire(SBW for short),builds test bench and research on control strategy of SBW system,which includes the front wheel steer control strategy and the road feel control strategy.Considering the free design of angle transmission ratio and road feel,the system force transmission characteristics and angular transmission characteristics are changed,the sliding mode control strategy is adopted to improve handling stability of the vehicle.Based on a suittable Torque comforting the driver,the ideal road feel of steer wheel is designed to improve driving tiredness.The main work of this paper is as follow:1.View the documents about SBW system,understand the knowledge of SBW system,including development and research background of SBW system,basic structure and control strategy of SBW system.2.Dynamic simulation model of SBW system was built in MATLAB/Simulink,the model includes the steer manipulation module model and the steer execution module model.Then a vehicle control simulation model was built,including 7DOF vehicle model,"PAC2002 tire model" and preview optimal artificial neural network driver model.Compare with Simulation of vehicle model build by ADAMS/Car to Verify the accuracy of the model.3.Research on active steer control strategy of SBW system,design an ideal steer ratio of the steer system,the sliding mode control algorithm for an optimal sliding surface and the filtering algorithms for restrain chattering,Fuzzy PID algorithm for control motor.Add the design of control algorithm to simulation model,through steer wheel angle step test and double lane change test simulation to analyze handling stability,verifying the advantages and disadvantages of the system.4.Research on the road feel control strategy of SBW system,obtain relationship between ordinary cars in aligning torque and speed and steer wheel angle based on CarSim simulation,the driver ideal road feel is designed based on the aligning torque.5.Design the test bench of SBW system,the bench includes main control module,steer control module and steer execution module design and select part.Build test bench of SBW system,carry out the relevant bench experiments and analysis performance of test bench.
