Application Of Electronic Transformer In The Smart Substation

In recent years,the smart grid that has gradually becoming the development trend of electric power industry,the core of smart gird is the smart substation.Compared with the conventional substation,smart substation is the upgrading of digital substation,and the characteristics of the digital substation is to replace the traditional electromagnetic transformer with electronic transformer and replace the traditional analog power collection with digital signal;In order to facilitate the control of smart grid,monitoring and protection,the precise voltage and current data measurements must be achieved by the digital network of optical fiber and telecommunication lines.Therefore,electronic transformer in the application of intelligent substation will play an immeasurable role in the construction of smart grid.in the future.First,in this paper,the characteristics of electromagnetic transformer and electronic transformer was deeply studied,then the comprehensive comparison was from carried form the definition?working principle?structure?performance?test methods and the application of in the field;Then the study demonstrated the way of using electronic transformer to replace traditional electromagnetic transformer in smart substation.Secondly,through the characteristics of smart substation operation and management mechanism and the field testing of ECT,this paper demonstrated that the sensor electronic transformer must be borne by the mainstream trend of the accurate?transfer and digital output transformer;Then the research in the intelligent substation requirements?key technology and application development were studied.Finally,in this paper,the engineering design research of electronic transformer was carried out by the typical 330 k V smart substation,the merging units configuration mode of different voltage level on the bus and the main transformer of electronic transformers was obtained,then the rationality of the configuration mod was verified through laboratory tests;After the end of the configuration,the influence of intelligent electronic device in the smart substation? secondary loop and relay protection was analyzed.
