The instability of the power system operation may results in a high risk of large-scale power outages.A large area of power outages will cause the factory to stop production,the machine to stop running and bring huge economic losses,also leads to a serious negative impact on human life.Therefore,in order to protect the operation of the power grid security,eliminating the blackout accident is a very important work.This paper studies the safety risk and vulnerability analysis methods of power system,demonstrates the necessity of assessment and evaluation of power system safety risk and vulnerability,and explores the power system safety risk assessment index system.We study the overall framework,evaluation process and evaluation content of the assessment,and provide the basis for the work of power system safety supervision.Research specific tasks include the following three parts:The first is the feasibility study of power system security risk and vulnerability analysis and evaluation.According to the current situation of electric power safety production,the structure and operation characteristics of power system and the work of electric power safety management,the feasibility of power system safety risk and vulnerability analysis is studied.The necessity and importance of power system safety risk and vulnerability analysis and evaluation are demonstrated.Secondly,the power system security risk and vulnerability analysis index system are studied.We have carried out the research on the theory and evaluation system of electric power safety,and established the evaluation index system which can accurately and intuitively describe the situation of electric power safety and the fragile link.The index system finally selected three first-level indicators(structural risk,technical risk,equipment risk),the following includes a number of secondary indicators,three indicators and four indicators.Combined with Delphi Method(expert survey method),we gives the index calculation formula and the weight calculation.Finally,the pilot application is studied.We carry out research in Guangdong Province to assess and verify the scientific and feasible evaluation system.And the results of the evaluation are analyzed and explained,and their structural weakness,technical weakness and equipment weakness are studied,and suggestions and opinions are put forward for the local improvement of the grid risk index.
