| With the development of science and technology since the 21 st century,the design industry has been a breakthrough in terms of modeling with development.In architectural design industry,for example,Zaha Hadid,the representative of "parametrism",uses twisted curved surface to split the building space to build the cool and impactive architecture,which promotes the whole design industry into a new era of digital design.The Grasshopper,which is the plug-in of Rhino software,is mainly used for the construction of special-shaped surface.And with programming features,people can always edit the program logic and change the shape of the surface.In this paper,the Grasshopper parameter platform is introduced,the purpose of it is to solve the problems of the construction of irregular surface and the problems that can not be modified during the process of design and the design method of digital technology.This paper is divided into three parts to study the Grasshopper parameter platform in landscape design.In the first part,the author analyzes the parametric works of modern design masters from the aspects of computer,nature and art.In the aspect of calculation,the limitation of traditional computer aided design is analyzed,and the design method of landscape parameterization is summarized.Then,according to the generative logic of Grasshopper,the applications and advantages of Tyson polygon,swarm intelligence and parameter logic in landscape architecture are introduced.Nature is the source of inspiration,and the author explore the two aspects of the inspiration of parametric design from the traditional Chinese garden aesthetic thought "in nature,higher than natural" and bionic design.Artistry means to design something using the beauty of art.This paper studies the contemporary parametric design masters’ works,from which we can find the intrinsic parameters of the law and then summarize it.The second part is the exploration of Grasshopper design method.First,the paper introduces the composition,characteristics and simple methods of use Grasshopper.Comparing Grasshopper and traditional aided design software in landscape,such as AutoCAD and Sketch up,from the line drawing,layer management,space modeling and surface generation,to explore the advantages of Grasshopper and summarize the design steps of Grasshopper.The third part mainly studies the application practice of Grasshopper in landscape greening design of Chaoyang Delta in Nanchang and the green landscape design of Shantou overseas economic and cultural cooperation experimental zone,and the practice in landscape design,such as the main sculpture design,graphic design,landscape bridge,landscape wall design and landscape architecture design.Grasshopper is going to be a "projects-searching" tool for designers while they design.At the same time,it will replace the traditional design software,such as Sketch up and make landscape design more innovative,scientific and convenient. |
