Nuclear pump as a transport medium powerplant has been widely used in nuclear system.The nuclear equipment devices often work on high temperature and pressure environment.It will be caused great effect on the bearing life or directly cause bearing failure when pump working on a large thermal load,then leading to the nuclear accident.So in order to eusure the nuclear pump thermal safety,it is important to calculate the heat balance of the nuclear pump system.However,people to control the tempreture of nuclear pump is not to through the way of calculation but to through the way of experimental detection.Meanwhile,it also did not form a set of applicable in the field of all kinds of thermal calculation method.Based on a certain type of vertical centrifugal pump as the research object,we do some work as follows:(1)This paper introduces the principle of heat transfer and heat dissipation,and three ways of heat transfer and heat transfer calculation of the related research both at home and abroad.(2)To analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the thermal resistance network and numerical simulation method.To choose a suitable method and introduces the calculation process of thermal network.(3)To establish the corresponding thermal model use the thermal resistance network.We get the Corresponding temperature distribution by the calculation.Combining with the characteristics of the structure of the nuclear pump,we put forward two improved cooling ways:first,to increase the heat sink on the pump shaft way to reinforce the cooling,calculation of heat sink cooling effects of pump shaft system.Second,the installation of the fan forced convection to the bearing support,analysis and calculation to the influence of pump shaft cooling fan.(4)We present the parameter design method of the fan under the condition of nuclear heat pump safety design and we give a validation to the fan wind speed and speed pressure verification through fulent software.(5)We get the bearing temperature distribution through Steady-State Thermal module of ANSYS.Compared with the results thermal resistance network,to verify the accuracy of the nuclear pump heat balance calculation method and strengthen the effectiveness of the cooling system.On the basis of the above content,this paper sums up a set of nuclear pump heat balance calculation method,and to explore a set of improved nuclear pump cooling system method.Furthermore,we test and verify the reliability of this method through the finite element software.
