Therefore, through the analysis of the traffic characteristics of the congested intersections, combined with the traffic characteristics of the congested intersections, the calculation method of the signal cycle time of the intersection state under the man-machine conflict is proposed,which reduces the delay of the motor vehicle at the intersection and improves the efficiency of the intersection, The development has a very realistic significance. In this paper, Visual Basic is used to program the calculation of the cycle length algorithm, and then the VISSIM simulation software is used to check the rationality of the micro-simulation test algorithm.This paper first introduces the methods of pedestrian, motor vehicle and non-motor vehicle traffic data collection,and makes a brief general analysis of the collected data.Secondly,this paper studies the definition and method of congestion and congestion at home and abroad, and studies and analyzes the traffic characteristics of urban congested intersections through the collected data, including the traffic characteristics of motor vehicles, traffic characteristics of non-motor vehicles,pedestrians The traffic characteristics; Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign intersection signal timing calculation methods, such as conflict point method and Webster timing algorithm, combined with the traffic characteristics of congestion signal intersection, the paper puts forward the calculation method of signal cycle time of the intersection state.Finally, the simulation model is established based on VISSIM, and the delay of congestion at the intersection is compared with that of the original algorithm.
