The researchers has been focus attention on Sediment in pumped storage power station.The mainly harm to pumped storage power station of sediment problem is;one aspect of the sediment siltation in reservoir accumulation,to harm the reservoir operation;Another aspect of sediment with the power station running into pumping equipment,lethal effects on the equipment service life.Model of the flow structure,the riverbed evolution in research,such as sediment deposition has incomparable advantage over other methods.In this paper,based on the model similarity theory,combined with Henan Tianchi pumped storage power plant water and sediment data produced in Henan Tianchi muddy water movable bed model,and through prototype data and test data comparison,verify the reliability of the model design.On the basis of the model design and reliable,for henan tianchi series of pumped storage power station through the long years different coming water and sediment conditions and typical floods after years of operation,hedge silt terrain was measured,the approximation obtained by cross section method reservoir at the end of each series overall siltation distribution and deposition distribution between each section,and pycnometer method is used for each series years longer along the sediment concentration distribution in the process of test and typical cross section of the determination of sediment concentration distribution in a timely manner,and gives the water intake of library is the lowest limit plant operation to the sediment concentration.Results show that the typical sections and in and out of the gate of sediment concentration distribution form of increased exponentially increased.
