This paper takes T12V190 gas engine as the research object. Through the test analysis of the original T12V190 engine, it was found that the engine was unsmooth, the cylinder work was not uniform, the work cycle changed, and the exhaust temperature was higher.In this paper, the one-dimensional simulation model of this type engine is established by BOOST software, and the calibration and performance fitting of the simulation model are performed using the previous experimental data. The one-dimensional model is used to calculate the exhaust system of the engine, and the effect of the optimization of the exhaust system is calculated.The paper makes a three-dimensional simulation of the engine's intake system. From the steady flow field and the transient flow field analysis of the problems existing in the air intake system, combining T12V190 gas inlet structure, put forward three kinds of air intake system optimization scheme and calculation analysis, determine the inlet structure of the optimal solution.Through analyzing the optimized engine test comparison, proved that the optimization of inlet and exhaust system, engine exhaust flow backward solution, in order to reduce the loss of the inlet and exhaust, and improve the charging efficiency; The pump gas loss and exhaust temperature of the engine are reduced, the combustion of engine cylinder is optimized and the combustion duration is shortened. Engine load increased by 16. 7%, the highest average manifold exhaust temperature 45?, engine thermal efficiency is improved by 2%, per KWH gas consumption was reduced by 5%,the engine power performance and economic performance is improved.In this paper, the experimental study on the inlet and exhaust system of the T12V190 gas engine is carried out, and the research process and test result analysis have certain reference value for the optimization of large cylinder diameter natural gas engine.
