With the rapid development of power electronic technology and industrial production level,power converters play an more and more important role in economic development.MC has become a research hotspot in the field of power electronics for its characteristics of compact structure and excellent performance.There are lots of power devices in MC,and failure in power devices will reduce the performance of system directly,and even make the whole system crash.Thus,it's very important to research the fault diagnosis strategy of power devices in order to ensure the high reliability of MC.The current method of MC fault diagnosis is rapid and accurate.Although the existing current method has the disadvantages,such as large amount of calculation,complex algorithm and relying on modulation strategy,it is detected by the system detecting elements directly and won't increase the system cost.This paper uses the current method to research the TSMC open circuit fault diagnosis strategy.Firstly,this paper introduces the background and significance of the research,and analyzes the fault diagnosis technology of power converter based on voltage and current method respectively in detail.Based on the brief introduction of TSMC SVM strategy,this paper constructs the input and output current state vector of TSMC,analyzes the features of current state vector trajectory and then verify it by the Matlab.Secondly,in the case where the TSMC inverter and the rectifier power device have an open circuit fault respectively,this paper analyzes the features of the TSMC operation mode,the input and output current state vector trajectory,and then compares the current state vector trajectories at the inverter and rectifier stage,to achieve the purpose of TSMC power device fault feature extraction.At this basis,according to the failure characteristics of the current state vector trajectory extracted when the power device is open-circuited,an open circuit fault diagnosis strategy for TSMC power devices based on the current state vector is proposed.Finally,the simulation model of the TSMC fault diagnosis system is built in the Matlab/Simulink simulation environment,which verifies the validity and accuracy of the proposed fault diagnosis strategy.The proposed fault diagnosis strategy is simple,and it can overcome the problem of load sensitivity.It will not become invalid in the vicinity of zero current,and also has the high diagnostic reliability.
