Submarine is the important weapon used for protecting the current ocean security. The radiated noise accuracy measuring of underwater acoustic target can provide data for development vibration and noise reduction technology and it is fatal to enhance submarine's stealthy character and fighting ability. Recently, the traditional measurement has not obtained accuracy noise data, because of the development vibration and noise reduction technology. So the paper presented a new method about broadband constant bandwidth beamforming based on vector hydrophones array.Firstly, the simulation and analysis of conventional beamforming algorithm based on scalar array show that it has the capability of restraining needless signals. And the result of simulation shows that using the algorithm processing vector signal can obtain more gain.Based on above theory, the paper used muti-aperture synthetic method to realize the beamwidth constant, proposing broadband constant bandwidth beamforming algorithm for radiated noise measurement. The paper also studies the constant beamwith beamforming theory whose main beam not pointing to perpendicular direction of array. Furthermore, the paper concluded that the measurement system based on vector array is more effective than scale by results of calculating the array gain value, using the algorithm process simulated data in different SNR and using the algorithm process real data received in Songhua lake.Secondly, for rigidity vertical array measurement, the paper researched the influence to measurement from the array deflection working by ocean current and proposed revising method; for horizontal array measurement, the paper researched that how the setting height of array and layered media influent measurement accuracy.Last but not least, the paper design a software for radiated noise measurement of underwater acoustic target by GUI on Matlab.
