With the application of vector hydrophone in underwater acoustic field becoming more and more widely,the calibration method of vector hydrophone is also becoming more important than before.The traditional calibration method of vector hydrophone is based on a standard sound pressure hydrophone,and the accuracy of this method is relatively low.So this paper studies the absolute calibration method of vector hydrophone in the standing wave tube.Based on the theory of cylindrical waveguide,this paper deduced the sound propagation and vector hydrophone free field acoustic sensitivity formula.In order to accurately assess the results of calibration,the sources of measurement error will be analyzed by the uncertainty theory,and the characteristics of standing wave sound field in the tube will also be measured.In order to reduce the interference of human factors and improve the work efficiency,this paper adopted the virtual instrument control technology to realize the automatic measurement system,and the standing wave tube field has been measured by using this automatic measurement system,the characteristics of sound field in a standing wave tube is also acquired.In this paper,the absolute calibration method of vector hydrophone is conducted in stand wave tube by using automatic measurement system.The calibration result is assessed by the uncertainty theory,and the uncertainty of the calibration system is calculated.
