With the rapid development of the defense industry, its reliability and lifetime requirements related to the product also increasing. Dry-type transformers as a very important part,plays a very important role in the work product,so its life requirements has increased correspondingly. From the viewpoint of reliability, dry-type transformers are studied aspects related to the accelerated life test.Firstly, this paper introduces the research background of dry-type transformers and its significance in the use and introduce accelerated life case studies and analyzes the practical significance of dry-type transformers accelerated life research. The paper dry-type transformers are analyzed factors influencing the life. This article was first obtained through a series of fault mode and cause of the failure by the experience,but because of many factors, so it is for dry-type transformers FMECA analysis and to identify the primary failure mode of dry-type transformers, and then determine the fault the degree of harm, and then find the biggest dry-type transformer factors outside influence is the influence temperature.Next, the article describes several main types of dry-type distribution transformers life accelerated life test, failure model life, acceleration factor analysis. Compared with analysis of the pros and cons of the relationship between them, we choose a more suitable for dry-type transformers accelerated life testing model, and made preparation for the next acceleration test. In this paper, and then the constant stress accelerated life test, step-stress accelerated life testing and progressive stress accelerated life testing three test were analyzed, selected stepper accelerated life testing based trials of loading, and described the step accelerated life the basic principle of the test.
