The problems of harmonics and reaction power in traction power supply of electrified railway are incisive and prominent,because of the special electric locomotive.With the HXD serial locomotives working on Baoshen railway,the harmonic resonance was caused by high order harmonics which are generated by the HXD serial locomotives.Then some devices along Baoshen railway were burnt down,especially the devices in Shaoshan electric locomotives when they are mixed running with HXD serial locomotives.The Baoshen railway is under the serious hidden dangerous brought by the high order harmonics.So the high order harmonics in Baoshen railway were researched in this dissertation,and a implementation scheme was built.Finally,the application of this measure indicates that the high order harmonics were suppressed effectively.The contributions of this dissertation are as follow: a basic study on the HXD serial locomotive and SS4 B electric locomotive,the modeling of AC-DC-AC drive system and analyzing of its harmonic,the sampling and analyzing of harmonic dates in field of Baoshen railway,the scheme for high order harmonics suppression,the computer simulation and analysis based on the MATLAB,the implementation of the scheme and monitoring of its effects.(1)Based on the problem caused by mixed running,the performance of two types locomotives was compared and analyzed,and then there are some basic ideas about traction drive systems,which lays a founding for the analysis and suppression of harmonics;(2)Though developing the mathematical model of inverter system of AC-DC-AC drive system,its harmonics are analyzed and compared with the harmonic data acquired from the Baoshen railway.Then the source and distribution of high order harmonic are clear when Baoshen railway working in mixed running;(3)The two different schemes of Active power filter(APF)and second-order high-pass filter are proposed to solve the higher harmonic,and their respective advantages and disadvantages are compared.Finally the higher harmonic suppression scheme of Baoshen railway is established;(4)Based on MATLAB,the performance of the second-order high-pass filter is modeled and simulated,and the effect of harmonic suppression is analyzed by using the simulation software;(5)According to the analysis of railway harmonic problems,the corresponding parameters of a second-order high-pass filter are designed and established with some related technical support,and the commissioning and effect monitoring after site installation are all completed.The sampling data show that the effect of higher harmonic suppression scheme for Baoshen railway is obvious.Also,when the two types locomotives are in a mixed running,the burnout problem of the overvoltage resistance of Shaoshan series locomotives or the equipment along Baoshen railway has been solved.
