Recently,the urban vehicle inventory is growing up year by year with the development of modern city life,society and economy level.This caused our urban traffic has to confront with severe congestion problems.People realized that the public transportation,which has the advantages of low energy consumption,low environment pollution,low land occupation and low travel cost,is the best way to relieve congestion in city.However,bus dispatching plays a very important role in daily operation.At the same time,the key to improve operation level,ameliorate service quality,increase the attraction of public transit is to design and optimize the bus dispatching system itself.This study starting from bus management and dispatching present situation.On this basis,found the drawbacks of present dispatching system.At last,there were three main parts during the exploration of the study,the foundation and strategy of bus dispatching,the structure of intelligent bus dispatching system and the optimization of line scheduling.According to whether the scheduling has real-time or not,the bus scheduling can be divided into static and dynamic scheduling.According to the scheduling involves the smalle st unit,the bus scheduling can be divided into line scheduling and regional dispatching.The comparative analysis and strategy research on bus dispatching mode are conducted from the line scheduling and regional dispatching.The paper finally points out that although the regional scheduling has advantage and is the development trend of the future.But as the basis and premise,it is necessary to study the line scheduling.On the basis of present situation of bus dispatching system.The study analyzed requirements of different research objects such as decision makers,bus travelers and bus enterprises.Next,the study analyzed the future goal of intelligent bus dispatching system.Then made assumption and prospection of a full real-time-based scheduling process.In the part of bus ling scheduling optimization of the study.There were two goals that need to be optimized: first is to minimize the waiting time of bus travelers,then is to maximize the operating income of bus enterprise.In order to ensure the interests of both sides,the study transformed the original target into multi-objective problems.So,the whole optimiza t io n became into a clear mathematical model.The decision variable of the model is buses' send-out time and its constraints includes departure interval,bus full-load ratio and so on.The model is solved by multi-objective optimization method based on genetic algorithm.In the case study,the bus line of B1 in Lanzhou was chosen for analyses.According to the model,the table of departure time is calculated by Matlab.And the calculation result is compared with the existing timetable.Finally,because of the passenger flow and time distribution are different from other partial stations in bus line B1.According to comparative analysis results,the expressing scheduling form has been chosen as an added measure to coordinate new timetable.
