With the rapid development of semiconductor manufacturing technology, the application of power electronic devices is becoming more and more extensive.Accompanied by the increasingly serious harmonic problem, the generation of harmonics makes the power quality of the power grid is getting worse, and pollutedthe power systems.Using active power filter APF(Active Power Fliter)can suppress the harmonics in the power systems and reactive power compensation on the power systems. This paper introduces the generation and solution of the harmonic problem first, then introduces the principle of various active power filters, and then describes the current application comparison The basic principle of the extensive harmonic current detection algorithm is introduced, and three kinds of detection algorithms based on the instantaneous reactive power theory are introduced:p-q method,ip-iq method and d-q method. Then introduce the current control method, namely:periodic sampling method, triangular wave comparison method and hysteresis comparison method,For the delay generated by the harmonic detection algorithm, the method of predictive control is used to eliminate the delay to reduce the error. The stability of the DC side voltage plays an important role in the performance of the APF.In this paper, the sliding mode control method is used to control the voltage of the APF DC side and its feasibility and compensation performance are analyzed by MATLAB.Finally,a lOkV active power filter experiment prototype is developed with TI's DSP chip TMS320F2812 as the control core. The system is modeled and simulated by Matlab, which ensures the stability of the system.By changing the sliding mode parameter System performance for experimental records, and achieved good results.
