Car suspension is an important part of the car.It not only plays the role of supporting the whole body,but also the power of different road to the body.Suspension system not only affects the comfort of the car,but also has a close relationship with the handling.Therefore,In different road conditions,to protect the performance of the car is the preferred design of the rear axle design goals.In this paper,the development of torsion beam rear axle is studied.And the development process of torsion beam rear axle are built.Firstly,according to the information of the reference torsion beam,the main performance and size of the rear axle torsion beam are designed based on the reverse development model.Then,under several ultimate load conditions,the rear axle of the torsion bar is simulated by using the CAE analysis technique and analyzed,and the design of the torsion beam is improved according to the CAE analysis results.Finally,through the development of torsion beam tooling,the torque beam is tested,and the trial torsion beam gantry durability test and loading road durability test is completed.The main contents of the thesis are as follows:(1)The information of reference torsion beam is obtained,which can provide reference for the design of new torque beam.Then,the reference torque beam is improved by CATIA,and the two-dimensional and three-dimensional torsion beam model is designed for the matching vehicle.(2)the five cases of the newly designed torque beam are analyzed by using CAE analysis technique.And the weak position of the torsion beam are found and optimized.Finally,the torsion stiffness test of the modified torsion beam is carried out.And the test results are in good agreement with the simulation results,which verifies the correctness of the simulation.(3)Dynaform is used to analyze the shape of the rear axle of the torsion beam and solve the problem of forming process.And then toolings of torsion beam rear axle are developed,and the trial operation of the torsion beam rear axle is completed,and the torsion beam assembly of the bench durability test and loading road test are completed.
