Smart grid is the latest trend of power system development and change in the world today.It is considered as the significant innovation and development trend of power system in the 21 st century.With a large number of intelligent substation pilot project put into construction,the rapid increase in the demand for smart components,its application prospects are very broad.The safe operation of the intelligent components is very important to the smart grid,and the promotion and use of the smart components face the challenges of the complex electromagnetic environment of the substation.Lightning discharges can cause electromagnetic interference,such as conduction or radiation,in the surrounding space,including the control room.The main content of this paper is the calculation method of lightning impact on smart components of substation and the influence law.Substation will be effected by direct lightning,lightning induction,invasive wave.The smart components in the intelligent substation are connected by fiber optic cable to transmit the signal.The weak current system can be affected by the direct lightning strike through the cable and the field connection.If the low-amplitude lightning directly hit the metal structure within the station will form interference voltage in the ground,and the formation of radiation field in space to affect the smart components.By studying the modeling and calculation methods of the direct impact and intrusion wave on the smartcomponents in the intelligent substation,it is proposed to reduce the surge voltage at the port of the smart component as the goal.The research results of this project are summarized as follows: the influences of different lightning rod positions,position of arrester,length and direction of cables on the voltage of intelligent components are summarized by calculating the influence of lightning on intelligent components.And obtains the influence of different factors on the surge voltage of intelligent component port.The limit of immunity of intelligent components is given according to existing standards.According to the lightning probability in the example,the lightning protection level of the intelligent substation is set,and the smart component port characteristics are not exceeded.A risk assessment method for intelligent equipment is proposed...
