Thermochemical heat storage based on hydrate salt has become a new research hotpot for long-term thermal storage,as it compared with latent heat storage and sensible heat storage provides large energy density and negligible heat loss during long-term storage and is environmentally friendly, nontoxic and cheap. In this paper, intensive and comprehensive investigation is conducted in thermochemical heat storage at home and abroad, tests are made in different operating conditions on 13 X zeolite-MgSO4 composite material. The test in temperature and humidity controller reveals how the amount of water sorption of Composite material(20g,single layered)changes at different temperature(25 ℃,35℃,45℃,55 ℃)and humidity(55%,65%,75%,85%);the test in thermochemical heat storage test platform reveals the heat storage property of the composite material(400g,piled up in reactor)such as temperature rise, outlet humidity, etc at different flow rate(0.3m3/h,1m3/h,1.5m3/h)and inlet humidity(45%,55%,65%);and the composite material is relatively stable after five hydrate/dehydrate circles, the quality of material is reduced less than 1.2%,the maximum temperature rise is reduced less than 6℃.A charge energy density of 492.28 j/g and a discharge energy density of 401.1 j/g is obtained in TG-DSC analysis and reactor, and the efficiency of reactor can reach 81.34%.Eventually,properties of the salt hydrates based seasonal thermochemical storage technology are summarized and the future research directions are discussed.
