| The hazards of corona effects of conductor must be taken into consideration in the design and operation of transmission line.So far,a great deal of researches have been done on the corona characteristics of the conductor,but most of the work mainly focus on the influence of corona effects of conductor on the electromagnetic environment,and fewer focus on the methods to lessen the corona of conductor by reducing the contamination on the conductor surface.The paper presents a method by coating TiO2 self-cleaning optical film on the surface of conductor to change the morphology of water droplets and reduce the accumulation of contamination on it to improve the conductor corona discharge,which has much value for the practical operation transmission line.In this paper,The TiO2 self-cleaning optical film on the surface of smooth steel conductor was prepared by high-pressure spraying technique.At the same time,the surface condition of the conductors was characterized by electron microscope,energy spectrum analyzer and roughness meter combined with gray scale matrix.In this paper,DC corona test has been carried out on conductors with different content of TiO2 in the artificial accelerated accumulation of contamination system,which is aimed to figure out the corona characteristics of the conductor with artificial water drops.The effect of hydrophilicity of the film on the corona discharge of conductor was studied under the ultraviolet condition.And the effect of TiO2 content in the film on improving the corona effect of the conductor was studied too.At the same time,a DC corona test was carried out to simulate accelerated sedimentation.And the effect of photocatalytic oxidation of TiO2 on the surface of the conductor on corona discharge was obtained.The TiO2 self-cleaning optical film can improve the corona inception voltage of the water droplet on the surface of the conductor under the ultraviolet condition.And the higher the TiO2 content,the more obvious the improvement effect,and the higher the corona inception voltage become.The TiO2 self-cleaning optical film has good self-cleaning properties under the ultraviolet condition,which can decompose organic contamination and reduce the accumulation of contamination on the surface of the conductor,and improve the corona inception voltage of the conductor.With the increase of TiO2 content in the self-cleaning film,the self-cleaning property of the conductor increases,and the contamination on the surface of the conductor decrease and so decrease the corona inception voltage. |
