The dramatic decreasing of traditional energy sources and the severe environment problems are accelerating the development of solar energy resources.The local surface plasmonic effect of gold nanoparticles makes them significantly enhance the absorption of sunlight in the plasma resonance band,The nanoparticles absorbed the energy from the incident light,converting them into heat immediately and transferring to the surrounding medium quickly.The gold fluid contain nanoparticles with average diameter of 16 nm was choosed as work fluid for the excellent photothermal properties.The influence of the addition of gold nanoparticles on the radiation heat transfer during droplet evaporation was investigated by evaporating the droplets of 1.5 mm diameter droplets on the T-type thermocouple couple and taking the photos using the high-speed camera.The size of the droplet evaporation process is captured by the high-speed camera.The real-time dimension of the droplet evaporation process can be calculated from the ratio of the field size of the camera to that of the camera,And the change of the mass of the droplet evaporates with time can be calculated.It is found that with the evaporation of water droplets,the size of the droplets decreases gradually and the area of the absorbing the solar light gradually decreases.The evaporation rate of the droplets decreases gradually.However,due to evaporation of droplets,the gold nanoparticles still remain in the droplets,causing the concentration of particles higher and higher and the evaporation rate droplets in per unit increasing and increasing.And the rate become stable when increased to a certain value.The different concentrations of gold nanoparticles at different times in the process of droplet evaporating corresponded to the different evaporation rate of per unit area at different times.Through this we can get the optimal concentration range of gold nanoparticle solution in the solar thermal utilization avoid a large number of experiments on the optimized concentration of the experiment.Through this experiment,the best range of concentration of gold nanofluid is 902 ?g/ml to 13763 ?g/ml.Micro droplets have a large specific surface area can accelerate the evaporation of water,this experiment provide a certain experimental and theory basis.for solar steam production.
