With the reform and construction of the country,the total length of road construction is more and more big,the construction of the bridge is more and more important.The steel truss arch bridge is widely adopted by engineers because of its small amount of material,light weight,strong bearing force and beautiful appearance.The strong destructive force of the earthquake not only caused huge losses to the national economy,but also caused harm to the safety of human life.The main objective of the current bridge engineering research is to explore how to improve the seismic capacity of the bridge.Therefore,there is great practical valu and significance to analyze the seismic response of steel arch bridge with steel truss.In this paper,the case study is a high quality steel truss arch bridge,Based on the finite element software ABAQUS,a spatial model is established to study the response under strong earthquakes.The main contents of this paper are summarized as follows:(1)by using the finite element software to establish the model,the vibration mode of the arch truss arch bridge in the twelve order vibration mode is obtained,The results show that the first order vibration mode of the arch bridge is the vertical antisymmetric flexural vibration of the whole bridge,Influence of higher modes of the bridge can’t be ignored,In particular,it is necessary to pay more attention to the seismic response spectrum design of this type of bridge;(2)the seismic response spectrum analysis of the arch bridge and the elastic-plastic time history analysis of the longitudinal and transverse directions under the rare earthquake ground motion,From the research,it is known that the arch bridge under the action of longitudinal earthquake is the elastic stage,the seismic response of arch bridge is much larger than that of longitudinal bridge under transverse earthquake,and the support between the bridge pier is in elastic stage or buckling phenomenon,and the hysteretic behavior is poor;(3)Taking the JRT-NS wave as an example,the vertical and horizontal +2/3 vertical ground motion input of the longitudinal bridge to the +2/3 bridge is analyzed,the seismic performance of steel arch bridge is studied in the paper;then,the increase of the axial force,the section of the arch rib,the vault and the middle section of the beam under the action of longitudinal bridge and vertical seismic excitation are studied;Traveling wave effect analysis showed that the increase is relatively large axial force of arch rib.The analysis of the above problems,a clear understanding of the history and the most unfavorable response analysis of input seismic wave vibration,vibration modal of superior steel truss arch bridge in the earthquake wave,the conclusion and the seismic design of the bridge structure similar to the reasonable design suggestions.
