As the most important continuous belt conveyor material handling machinery,its field of application is very extensive.Among them,the receiving section is one of the important components of the belt conveyor,but the current researchers on the belt conveyor receiving section characteristics and structural design mostly reference to engineering design experience,rather than take accurate theoretical calculations,resulting in the transport of materials in the process of a large number of wear and sprinkle material phenomenon.So that the service life of the belt conveyor is reduced,the maintenance cost is increased,the productivity is reduced,and the scattered material is liable to cause environmental pollution.In this paper,the characteristics of the belt conveyor receiving section were analyzed,and then the structure of the belt conveyor receiving section that was improved by combining the characteristics analysis.This study had a good reference for the structural design of the belt conveyor.Based on the structural characteristics of the belt conveyor receiving section,the belt conveyor was simplified to the elastic foundation beam vibration model under the action of axial force with the uniform load.Then the vibration equation of the receiving section was obtained by using the mechanical vibration theory,and then the equation that was fitted by MATLAB,we could get the influence of the roller spacing,the tension of the conveyor belt and the impact force of the material on the vibration.In order to verify the correctness of the theory,this paper designed the simulation experiment prototype of the belt conveyor,comparing the experimental data and the theoretical calculation results to verify the correctness of the theoretical analysis.Combined with the characteristics analysis of the receiving section and the current problems of the guide groove design,the length and shape of the guide trough was improved,and the three-dimensional material flow was simulated by discrete element to verify the correctness of the improved scheme.According to the characteristics analysis of belt conveyor receiving section:the vibration of the belt conveyor receiving section is relevant with the roller spacing,the axial force of conveyor belt,the impact of the material.The smaller the roller spacing,the greater the axial force,the smaller the impact of the material will reduce the vibration,which can keep conveyor belt stability and improve the service life of the conveyor belt.According to the structural improvement of the belt conveyor receiving section,the improvement of the length of the guide groove is helpful to improve the production efficiency and reduce the energy consumption of the belt conveyor.The improvement of the shape of the guide groove is helpful to keep the material nature,to prevent sprinkle material.
