With the acceleration of urbanization in China,the travel links between different areas in the city and the intercity areas continue to be strengthened,and travel distance and travel range of residents continue to be expanded.Residents’ travel characteristics are constantly changing.As the traditional residents travel survey methods can only obtain the limited parameters about travel characteristics,it’s necessary to find a more scientific,convenient and economical method to analyze and survey the residents’ travel characteristic.With the development of cell phone positioning technology,the cell phone signaling data developed by the positioning technology can quickly obtain the diversified residents’ travel information of large capacity,short real-time period and wide coverage.It can further explore the channel passenger travel characteristic data,and provide scientific data support for transportation planning,public travel,management and decision-making authorities to rationally use and allocate regional resources,plan channel lines and manage channel transport.Based on cell phone signaling data,this paper studies the residents’ travel characteristics of regional channels,and provides a great theoretical and practical significance.Based on the principle of LTE communication system.Firstly,the development process of communication systems were summarized,and the main technical features of the existing LTE system and two methods of cell phone positioning technology were analyzed.The way to store and process cell phone signaling data by using the database was analyzed meanwhile.Secondly,the definition of "cell phone travel" were given according to the concept of traffic travel,and the main quantitative indicators of travel characteristics were refined.At the same time,the various factors that affect the cell phone users’ travel and the adaptability of cell phone signaling data in the traffic field by by employing examples were analyzed.Then,based on the theoretical research results of existing cell phone signaling data in the field of channel travel recognition,the extraction algorithm model for channel user travel characteristics was constructed,and the cell phone users that triggers the spatiotemporal trajectory data generated by nearby base stations were studied in different travel States.It also decided the temporal-spatial features of the trace points corresponding to staying and travelling status of cell phone users,the staying area,travel area the time for passing in and out and the time forstaying of the users were identified.In this paper,various travel characteristics indexes such as regional channel,travel frequency,travel time,travel space and travel mode were excavated.The influence factors of user travel were analyzed from multiple perspectives and data expansion technology was established.Finally,the established model and analysis method were used to analyze the cases of two regional intercity channels from the main city to He chuan and the main city to Ji angjin in Chongqing.Results show that the model was to expand the regional channel travel characteristics data acquisition method,made up for the traditional method on the travel characters data acquisition channel.The regional channel travel characteristics is the research object of this dissertation,and the residents travel characteristic data within the channel was extracted from the new perspective of cell phone signaling data.The research results lay a foundation for improving the means and methods of travelling characteristics investigation and analysis.
