Research On Urban Residential Landscape Design Based On Environmental Psychology Theory

In the rapid development of urbanization,large-scale construction of urban residential areas,most of the residential landscape design details are not in place,and can not attract residents.In the Internet age,the lack of face-to-face communication among the residents,the sub healthy state of the country,and the residential landscape that attract the residents,it is urgent to increase the frequency of the residents’ activities.Based on environmental psychology,the study of urban residential landscape design system in line with the psychological needs of residents in China is conducive to improving the quality of life and promoting neighborhood interaction.First of all,this paper expounds the concepts of urban residential landscape and environmental psychology,and the importance of landscape design in the overall planning of residential areas,according to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,the theory of environmental psychology is summed up as the relationship among people’s sense of comfort,belonging,communication and environment,it is pointed out that environmental psychology plays an important role in landscape design to meet the psychological needs of the residents.Secondly,the paper summarizes the design strategy of environmental psychology in urban residential landscape through theoretical guidance and case analysis,and take the residential landscape in Weicheng District of Shandong city of Weifang Province as an example,the concept of public participation is permeated,and the residents are surveyed by questionnaire,and the deficiency of urban residential landscape is analyzed.Finally,the theory is applied to the practice,combining with the design strategy,taking the landscape design of the Qin Shen residential area in Weicheng as an example,the contradiction between the landscape planning and the psychological needs of the residents in the open residential district is solved.Based on the theory of environmental psychology,to solve the conflict between residents and the environment,to strengthen the sustainability of residential landscape,and to design livable urban residential areas for the purpose of coordinating the relationship between human behavior and the environment.Construct a harmonious residential area which is unified with environmental benefits,social benefits,economic benefits and the psychological health of the residents.
