| With the speeding up of the information technology in all walks of life comes greater demand for monitoring and early warning of thunder and lightning.How to locate lightning quickly and accurately is one of the main goals of the lightning monitoring network.When the precision and quantity of detection equipment in the lightning monitoring network are given,The distribution of the sites of lightning monitoring network has important influence on the positioning accuracy.In this paper,the optimization theory is introduced to solve the problem of sites distribution,to find out the optimal sites distribution results under certain situations.This paper established a mathematical model for optimal embattling problem and choose to use particle swarm algorithm to solve the model,Optimal embattling results of four sites obtained by the above model proved the existing qualitative results,and offered quantitative results.In the application of lightning monitoring network design in guangxi autonomous region,The model turned out having good ability in sites distribution optimization,which can improve positioning accuracy abviously.First of all,the article introduces the principle of lightning localization,that is,through the multiple time synchronization acquisition sites to calculate the coordinates and time of the lightning by time and direction measurement.Then,the localization algrithm,the error analysis of point and geometric dilution of precision(GDOP)calculation are introduced.Error distribution of several kinds of typical embattling mode of four sites are given,from which reader could have a perceptual knowledge about how embattling mode affect the monitoring network error distribution.Furthermore,optimization theory are introduced.The mathematical model of optimal embattling problem are established on the basis of optimization theory.Particle swarm optimization algorithm(PSO)are introduced to solve optimal embattling model.Then,optimal embattling results of four sites obtained by the above model proved the existing qualitative results,also offered quantitative results.In the application of lightning monitoring network design in guangxi autonomous region,the calculation results showed the horizontal average error is about 200m which have an abvious improvement.The model turned out having good ability in sites distribution optimization,which can improve positioning accuracy abviously.Finally,the 3-d lightning monitoring system developed independently by our group are introduced,including detection probe and main components of the data processing unit.Their functions in the system are aslo introduced. |
