Energy conservation and environmental protection are the two major themes of today's society.There are two major flaws in traditional spark plug ignition technology,firstly,increasing the circulation rate of gasoline engine;Secondly,the single-ignition mode limits the compression ratio.Compared with the balanced plasma generated by the traditional spark plug ignition technology,microwave discharge ignition technology produces non-equilibrium plasma with improving the performance of ignition combustion.In this paper,through the simulation to build a cylinder increase the burning waste reduction microwave discharge test system,and study the microwave discharge performance.In the microwave discharge chamber with different structural parameters to do the test,and optimize the resulting data,analyse the different parameters of the data and comparison to draw the relevant conclusions,the main research contents are as follows:(1)Introduce the concept of microwave plasma and its main characteristic parameters,and discuss the research status of different microwave plasma ignition combustion,and discuss the principle of microwave resonator and its coupling device,and discuss the basic principle of microwave resonator cavity plasma ignition device.With these theories as a guide,which will lay a good foundation for the subsequent numerical simulation and experimental study.(2)According to the domestic and foreign plasma ignition combustion technology research and plasma discharge ignition principle,which build a microwave discharge experimental research system.The system mainly includes:microwave energy input and transmission system,plasma discharge chamber discharge system,working fluid supply system,microwave discharge data acquisition system.In this system,the microwave output from the microwave source is sequentially driven by a turbid water load,a dual directional coupler,a three pin nail adjuster and a standard BJ-26 waveguide to the plasma discharge chamber.(3)In the experimental study system,through the sensors in cylindrical resonators to collect the pressure data curves of different microwave input power,different fuel air ratio,different initial pressure and different gas flow rate,and the high-speed camera is used to capture the burning of the combustion products under different conditions,which analyze and summarize the pressure data curve and the combustion image obtained in the experiment,and compared with the traditional spark plug ignition,draw the corresponding conclusion.
