Wind energy as a clean,renewable energy,is an important part of the future development of new energy.In the process of converting wind energy into mechanical energy,the wind turbine is the main component,and can be divided into the horizontal axis wind turbine and vertical axis wind turbine.The vertical axis wind turbine has been widely concerned because of its advantages such as low starting speed,not restricted by the wind direction and wide operating range.This paper mainly studies a new type vertical axis wind turbine and the wind power generation system mainly consists of three parts: the vertical axis wind turbine part,two-degrees-of-freedom permanent magnet synchronous generator part and control part.The wind energy is converted into mechanical energy by the wind wheel,and then transmitted to the generator,finally,by combining with the control part to generate electricity.Specific work is summarized as follows:1)In this paper,a new type of vertical axis wind turbine system structure is proposed.The three-dimensional model of the wind turbine is established by ANSYS WORKBENCH fluid mechanics analysis software,and the mechanical torque of the wind turbine is calculated at different rotational speeds.By changing the parameters,including the structure of the wind wheel,the angle and the direction of wind speed,the torque coefficient and the utilization coefficient of wind energy are calculated and simulated,compared with the model results,reflecting the structural advantages of new type of vertical axis wind turbine,and finally the mathematical model of the wind turbine is established;2)The generator uses a specially designed deflection permanent magnet synchronous generator,it can be controlled into the electric drive state to realize the rotation of two-degrees-of-freedom.The generator is provided with distributed windings and concentrated windings,which are used to realize the power generation and the electric drive state respectively.The three-dimensional model of the two-degree-of-freedom generator is established by using ANSOFT MAXWELL electromagnetic field analysis software,and the generator ? s output characteristics such as current and voltage are analyzed when the generator is in the power generation state;3)Several methods of maximum power tracking are analyzed,and the model of thewind turbine control system is established by combining the optimal ratio of speed ratio control and vector control,;4)Based on the MATLAB/simulink software,the wind speed model,wind turbine model and the permanent magnet synchronous generator model are built.Using the above models,the simulation model of the wind turbine system is established,and the power generation characteristics of the wind generation system is simulated and analyzed.
