In recent years,the development of freeways in our country has played an increasingly important role in the whole national economy,and this has become a new economic growth point.However,the development of freeway constructions has also led to the increasing of reconstruction and extension projects.In general,traffic flow are not interrupted in the work zones during the construction work,which lead to the conflicts between vehicles and vehicles,vehicles and people,vehicles and road infrastructures,as a result,the traffic running organization become more and more chaotic which aggravates the traffic accidents,and all of these deeply affects the level of freeways.Therefore,how to ensure the rapid operation of the traffic organization of freeway construction areas is the hot spot of study.At present,the researches have been done at home and abroad.This paper studied the traffic running organization problem of the partial sections of Shandong freeways.The traffic condition of freeway work zones was surveyed,and on the basis of which the traffic running organization method was proposed.The contents of this paper can be divided into four parts:The first part of this paper is to analyze the traffic running organization of freeway work zones.The type of the common freeway work zones was introduced in this part,and it includes shoulder closed construction area,one lane of one-way closed construction area,and one-way fully closed construction area.Then the applicability of these construction areas was analyzed.And the traffic characteristics of freeway work zones were summarized.At last,the goal and principle of traffic running organization of freeway work zones was proposed.The second part of this paper is the traffic running organization method of freeway work zones—traffic shunting,and it is also the major part of the paper.The relationship between traffic shunting and traffic running organization was introduced first,and the principle of traffic shunting was proposed on this basis.Then the traffic capacity was analyzed.The shunting scheme was determined in the second part,including determination of shunting point,determination of traffic volume of shunting point and applicability analysis of shunting point,then the road network distribution model is established.The third part is example verification.This paper selects the sixth block of Jiqing freeways as the case to analyze the traffic shunting scheme of freeway work zones.Five shunting schemes were got by analyzing the actual traffic state of freeway work zones and combining the shunting model.The study evaluated the different shunting schemes,and the two organizations of with shunting and without shxmting were contrasted,then the evaluation can be made by analyzing the queue length and travel time.Simulation results show that in different shunting schemes,the traffic running organization of with shunting measures is obviously better than that without shunting measures.Finally,the research content is svunmarized and the outlook for the future is put forward. |
