With the urbanization in China,the population is increasing in the city.Which will lead to vehicles increase in the city.The vehicles increase in the city will bring serious challenges of the city's infrastructure,meanwhile,which will also cause the traffic congestion and pollution.In order to meet the requirements of sustainable development strategy and the construction of resource based society,the government encourages the development of new energy vehicles.In this paper,the car foldable solar panel tracking system is the application of a solar car of new energy vehicles,the energy of the car is come from the solar energy.Because the use of solar energy in the process is of safe,clean,pollution-free and relatively low cost.And the technology is also relatively mature.But the solar energy density is low and the conversion efficiency is not high,so how to get more energy in the roof area of vehicles and improve the solar panel solar conversion efficiency is particularly important,it is a key to the solar cars change popular.The topic raises the auto tracking system for foldable solar panels is one way to solve these problems.The topic analyzes the current methods of folding solar panel and tracking ways,by comparing with each method,then put forward a new folding and tracking system.Which can make the roof area is 4 times the original and can achieve all-weather,all-round,stable and high precision sun tracking,keep the solar panel and solar light vertical all times.This system uses the C52 microcontroller as the control core and uses the three buses design idea to extend the I/O port.By adopting the parallel overlapping type as folding mode,whether the folding solar panel assembly is fully unfolded is determined by the on-off of the folding limit switch.The system adopts the strategy that the photoelectricity examination and the sun angle track.When the weather is sunny the system enters photoelectricity examination model,while theweather is cloudy the system enters the sun angle track mode.Using photodiode to detect the day and night,the sunny and cloudy.In the photoelectric examination model,using four quadrant detectors as photoelectric sensor,and then through the signal processing circuit and display circuit,finally through the numerical display circuit to determine the position of the sun,with the mechanical device and driving device to adjustment the solar panels until the display value is 0V.In sun angle track mode,firstly,the system reads the clock time and date to calculate local specific position of the sun,then the system respectively read three-dimensional angle sensor of the attitude angle on the solar panel and the body.By angle correction can obtain the panels position and the sun position,finally through with the mechanical device and driving device to adjustment the solar panels until the position of the panels and the sun is coinciding.The paper gives the system of folding and tracking the overall design,mechanical structure design,hardware design and software design.The design of hardware and software is designed and studied by means of structure and modularization.In the process of design and research,using CATIA for three-dimensional modeling and assembly,using Graphics Assistant Drawing for circuit,using C language for programming,using Keil4 for compiling.Finally,the system is completed by whole debug and conducted the related research.
