With the increasing social attention to the problems of the environment and resources,to better realize energy conservation and emissions reduction,China issued the diesel engine emission regulations for non-road machinery used in the third and fourth phases.It means that China will officially enter the third phase.Therefore,seeking an economic and technical way to meet the requirements of the third emission regulation is not only to realize energy conservation and emissions reduction but also to help enterprises to cope with the future market competition.This article focuses on agricultural machineries' switch and upgration.First,it introduces the main technical measures to remold the diesel engine for the upgraded second and third emission regulations.Second,it compares the difference between two diesel engines which meet the two standards.Third,it states the concept of electronic control diesel engine,the difference between electronic control diesel engine and the traditional diesel engine,the working principle of electronic control diesel fuel injection system,and the main function and advantages of electronic control diesel injection system,and etc.Through a comprehensive comparison,it determines the technical method to switch and upgrade the diesel engine to meet the third emission regulation.Using the agricultural tractor dongfanghong 704 as the research prototype,the writer selected the matching engine and calculated its cooling system,which including radiator and cooling fan's matching calculation and verifying calculation.Last,the writer optimized the structure of the cooling system,and completed the layout of the machine.The writer took a calibration test to the switched and upgraded prototype 704 and ensured that the tractor can achieve the best performance through matching the diesel engine to the whole machine.To check the upgraded cooling system,the writer carried a heat balance machine test.The results show that dongfanghong 704 prototype designed by this article can meet the requirements of the tractor.In the end,the writer did an emission experimental study for the switched and upgraded diesel engine and through the selection of internal EGR rate and injection timing optimization test,to make the diesel engine emissions reached the requirements of the third emissions limits.The essay completes the upgration of the diesel engine from the second to the third standard.
