Wind disaster investigation shows that the overall destruction of the gas station is rarely occur,however,local destruction of the envelope structures that lead to overall failure of the entire roof are not uncommon,these facts seriously affected the routine function of the gas station.Wind tunnel test is usually used to determine the wind shape coefficient,but because of the diversity of gas station shape and technical constraints,this method is too expensive to be used frequently.Current load code provides limited information about wind shape coefficient,thus,during the structural design process,designer can only estimate the wind load based on experience and the reference value.With the rapid development of computer technology,numerical simulation playing an increasingly important role in research field of wind structural engineer.In this paper,AutoCAD and GAMBIT are used to carry out the geometric modeling of the gas station.Then,the fluid domain and structure domain are meshed in software GAMBIT to establish the calculation model.Gas stations of various shapes are numerical simulated by adopting k SST-?turbulence model in software Fluent to obtain the parameters in wind resistant design,as described in the following subsections.Block the conventional gas station,the average wind pressure coefficient of the enclosure structure is-1.53.So the standard reference value is not suitable for calculating the wind pressure of the enclosure.The wind load characteristics of gas stations under different wind directions are studied,and the most unfavorable wind direction is 30 degrees.The study of different regions under different wind speed indicate that the wind pressure coefficient difference between the corner and the roof increases with the increase of wind speed,and the local wind load shape coefficient is suggested to prevent the destruction of the extreme weather.The numerical simulation of the gas station structure with rectangular,circular,slope and umbrella shape was carried out by CFD,the location of high pressure area is studied.The influence of slope angle on the distribution of wind pressure isdiscussed for the gas station with slope shape,the distribution characteristics of the mean wind pressure and wind pressure of gas stations with different roof shapes are revealed.At the same time,the influence of the studio on the wind load characteristics of rectangular,circular and slope shaped gas stations is studied.According to the characteristics of high pressure zone in the corner and edge of the typical gas station,several aerodynamic wind resistant measures are proposed that can reduce the wind pressure of the wind sensitive area by more than 25%.
