Study On The Application Of Jiangnan Garden Corridor Elements In Modern Public Interior Space Design

In the traditional Jiangnan gardens,the corridor element is not only an important part of the whole garden transportation system,but also an important public space for people to communicate with each other,its shape is changeable and can be combined with different terrain environment.Jiangnan Garden corridor as a flash point in traditional gardens,whether features of its own or the thoughts behind of it,the reference and Enlightenment to the modern interior design are various,therefore,this paper takes the Jiangnan corridor as the research object,and discusses how to inherit the characteristics of Jiangnan garden in public indoor space,hope to dig out a path of inheritance and innovation,to provide reference for the design of modern public indoor space.In this paper,the Jiangnan classical garden corridor elements as the starting point of modern public interior space design,the main structure of the article is divided into four parts:First of all,using the method of investigation and literature research to summarizes the concept,classification,value,function and design theory of Jiangnan garden corridor,summed up the characteristics of Jiangnan garden corridor elements.Secondly,from the two aspects of function and culture,this paper also makes a research on the compatibility of the Jiangnan garden corridor elements in public indoor space,and analyzes the limitation of the application.Through the case study,this paper analyzes the translation mode of Jiangnan garden corridor elements in public indoor space,and then summed up the relevant design methods:The continuation and transformation of the element space organization of Jiangnan garden corridor,to reconstruct the spatial relationship of Jiangnan garden corridor with vertical and torsion;The space interface is treated with the method of virtualization and geometry;To simplify and transform the local features of the Jiangnan garden corridor,and express the essence of the model by means of metaphor and reconstruction;Screening of new and old materials to break through the limitations of traditional materials and traditional technology,and extraction of the color of the Jiangnan garden corridor,to achieve a harmonious and unified indoor color effect.Finally,the feasibility of the design method is verified by the practice of bookstore space design.
