There are a lot of coal resources in Xinjiang,forecasting resource totaled 2.19 trillion tons,accounting for predict 40% of the total coal resources in China.Among them,the Zhun Dong coalfield and Tu Ha coalfield distribute a large number of high sodium coal.A lot of alkali metal in high sodium result in severe fouling and slagging in coal-fired boiler,it limits greatly the application of high sodium coal in the actual boiler.So far many scholars research the high sodium coal of Zhun Dong coalfield,but the high sodium coal of Tu Ha coalfield has not been clearly studied,and the research on practical application is also limited to below the grade of 300 MW unit.In this paper,a comprehensive comparison test of two kinds of high sodium coal is carried out through the thermogravimetric analysis and one-dimensional boilder,the results show that: Dananhu high sodium coal and Zhundong high sodium coal belong to the category of bituminous coal,but Dananhu high sodium coal quality characteristics and combustion characteristics are closer to lignite.In the same volume heat load,Zhundong high sodium coal slagging worse than Dananhu high sodium coal.Dananhu high sodium coal is harder to improve slagging than Zhundong high sodium coal through blending low sodium coal.they improve the slagging easily through blending coal gangue,and optimum blending ratio was 10%.In addition,this paper also takes in 660 MW supercritical unit as the research object,researching adaptability of boiler to high sodium coal through analysing the design features and operation characteristics of 600 MW class tower type boiler that the first time to use high sodium coal.A experiment was carried out,in which the influence of separator baffle,the ratio of air to coal,sofa wind,excess air coefficient,perimeter wind,air distribution mode,offset wind,variable style of blending to related parameters and slagging was researched.Considering the boiler efficiency,slagging,NOx and other factors to choose the optimal value.Finally,on the basis of this,it puts forward the optimized operation mode of the boiler that burning high sodium coal and the direction of the design technology of new boiler that burning high sodium coal.
