| Although China’s energy reserves very rich,but the per capita possession is very limited,and to coal resources as the main application,nuclear energy is to be developed.Between the current low-carbon environmental boom,very clean fusion energy has always been a dream dream of mankind.At present we have been in the fusion with some time and exploration,such as ITER(International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor),EAST(Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak)and so on.However,the future DEMO,commercial reactor on the superconducting magnetic field strength,and maintain a higher time(power>2GW,magnetic field>15T,current>100kA,carrying>150 tons/m).However,it is difficult to prepare more than 20T magnets by the critical magnetic field on the low temperature superconducting wire.The high temperature superconducting material has excellent upper critical field and large critical current density.Is our future development direction.In the high-temperature superconducting materials,Bi2Sr2CaCu2Ox(Bi-2212)superconducting material in the 4.2K has excellent Jc-B characteristics;can be prepared into a round wire,suitable for twisted cable.As a circular conductor,Bi-2212 can be made into a variety of high-current cable.Based on the progress of material preparation,Bi-2212 has been used for Rutherford cable,CICC conductor twisted,and then for high field interpolation magnet,storage magnet,accelerator magnet and fusion magnet development,but also the preparation of high temperature superconductivity CICC conductor preferred material.CICC(Calbe-In-Conduit Conducters),also known as jacketed cable conductor,is a superconducting wire through the multi-level twisted into a superconducting cable,and then superconducting cable into the stainless steel tube(jacket),through the compression technology Forming a superconducting conductor.It is characterized by good self-supporting,low AC loss,low temperature medium required,safe and reliable operation and high performance.It is a large superconducting magnet in the internationally recognized controlled thermonuclear alteration device.The preferred conductor for magnets and other devices is used in a variety of large scientific devices.The focus of this paper is on the Bi-2212 CICC conductor jacket related performance research.At present,there is no research on Bi-2212CICC conductor at home and abroad,but in the study of Bi-2212 Rutherford cable,the researchers found some metal materials and Bi-2212 superconducting line reaction law.In the previous study of Rutherford cable,people used metal wire as a cable and Bi-2212 superconducting twisted together to observe its reaction with the Bi-2212,but some materials due to cost reasons,not suitable for us CICC conductor jacket material.At present,the lack of systematic research on these metal materials.Bi-2212 CICC Conductor Specific requirements for jacket material:Oxygen can pass through 890℃ heat treatment and does not react chemically with bi2212 conductor.Have good mechanical properties at room temperature and low temperature.Which we will start a series of research,we currently use the main 316LN and Ni-80Cr two kinds of metal materials.To this end,we use the finite element software for mechanical performance analysis,simulated the whole conductor in the high pressure,high temperature heat treatment of the force situation.We then carried out chemical composition analysis,mechanical properties,scanning electron microscopy analysis of the two kinds of jacket materials,and heat treatment with Bi-2212 superconducting wires to observe the reaction of the jacket material with the superconducting wire.In the future,Bi-2212 CICC conductor will be used in high field environment(1000KN),Ni-80Cr may not withstand such a pressure,therefore,considering,we will use composite tube jacket. |
