Earthquakes are endangering people's life and property security,and it has a type of devastating attack,at present,the humanity to the focal mechanism of earthquake and the monitoring research of earthquake is not perfect,it is difficult to accurately forecast the earthquake occurred,therefore,the prevention of earthquake,earthquake resistance become the workers of China urgently needs to solve.Geographically,China is between in the Mediterranean-Himalayan seismic belt and the western Pacific seismic belt,and it is an earthquake-prone country[1].Historical data show that in the past four thousand years of history,in addition to Zhejiang and Jiangxi province,most of areas have suffered from the harm of the earthquake.Combines several big earthquakes in recent years,such as the wenchuan earthquake,in yushu and experience of earthquake damage,the earthquake in the vast rural areas is relatively backward,especially in the destruction of the house.To this end,a building for villages and towns,based on extensive,economical,feasible operation isolation measures has high practical significance.With traditional aseismic measures by material strength and plastic deformation resistance of the building structures to resist earthquake and to ensure the seismic safety of the structure.With the reference of new technology,various kinds of damping isolation arises.In this paper,the masses of China rural low-rise housing,this paper puts forward a kind of materials is widely,economy applicable and feasible operation isolation materials,between the building foundation and basis with a certain thickness,the particle size range of sand-rubber cushion layer.During an earthquake,the shear deformation mainly occurred in the cushion part,absorb seismic energy consumption[2],reducing the upper structure can receive seismic energy,therefore,has carried on the shaking table model test.Shaking table test show that when the earthquake struck,model base and sand-rubber cushion have obvious relative sliding displacement,seismic waves in the 0.1 to 0.4 g shock absorption effect is obvious,effectively improve the dynamic characteristics of the structure,this shows that the sand-rubber cushion of seismic energy up structure of the blocking effect,thus has certain shock absorption effect,cushion layer between the foundation and building foundation,simple construction,and save money.Based on the shaking table model test,the sand-rubber cushion layer under the different seismic intensity of earthquake isolation effect,sand-rubber vibration isolation cushion layer be used widely in engineering in the future to provide a certain basis.
