Mountain highway tunnel entrance section of the road if the driver can?t form an effective visual stimulation,long driving will make the driver prone to visual fatigue.High-quality landscape design can improve the driver's attention when approaching the tunnel,to avoid a single landscape environment and the driver's traffic adversely affected.Through the appropriate landscape to improve the tunnel entrance section of the driver's visual environment,can effectively improve the road traffic safety.Therefore,it is very important to study the relationship between the visual characteristics of the driver and the landscape design of the tunnel entrance section,which is of great significance to the safe operation of the highway and the optimal design of the landscape.Firstly,based on the field investigation and literature review,under the premise of the driver's visual and physiological and psychological characteristics,the tunnel design was carried out.The Smart Eye Pro 5.7 type eye track was used to carry out the mountainous highway tunnel Entrance section of the driver real vehicle test,record the driver eye movement data.Through the test data,the landscape design of the entrance section of mountainous highway tunnel is determined,and the landscape elements are classified and the landscape characteristics of the tunnel hole,the central separation zone and the road side green belt are analyzed.Then,the paper analyzes the influence of landscape elements on the behavior of the driver's gaze,the glance behavior and the pupil diameter change.Based on the ratio of the number of eye flicker and the number of gaze as the visual index,the method of visual combination of landscape elements is established,The optimal combination of the landscape elements of the tunnel,and provide the basis for the landscape construction technology of the tunnel entrance section.Finally,based on the analysis of the eye movement law of the tunnel entrance section and the visual information model(Kaplan model),the rules of the driver's landscape elements perception and communication are studied.The tunnel openings,the central separation zone and the road side green belt landscape technology.The simulation model of tunnel entrance section was established by using UC-win / Road software.The visual parameters such as duration,duration of glance,pupil diameter and the number of eye flickers were compared and analyzed.Optimize design results.Through the analysis of the landscape design and the visual characteristics of the driver,the paper puts forward the method of creating the landscape environment which satisfies the driver's visual and psychological needs,which has certain theoretical significance and construction for improving the safety level of the road and perfecting the highway landscape design Reference value.
