Shear wall is the common component to resist the lateral force for high-buildings.Seismic performance of structure has been the focus of civil engineering study.In recent years,with the wide application of high strength concrete,the cross size of shear wall is getting smaller,and the issue of brittleness is increasingly prominent.The addition of steel fibers in the shear wall with concrete filled steel tube columns is an effective method to overcome the problem of brittleness and enhance the seismic performance.Crack development,failure characteristics,load-deformation hysteresis curves,shear bearing capacity,ductility,stiffness and its degradation process and energy dissipation capacity were studied in this paper based on the low cyclic loading test of five steel fiber reinforced concrete shear walls with concrete filled steel tube columns and one normal steel fiber reinforced concrete shear wall with concrete filled steel tube columns.Other more,the factors of the steel fiber volume and the concrete strength were taken into account for the purpose to analysis the affecting laws and the force bearing mechanism.The test results indicate that the crack-resistant property,the shear bearing capacity,the energy dissipation capacity and the ductility are getting better,the stiffness degradation process is getting slower for using steel fibers reinforced high-strength concrete.Besides,with the increase of the volume of steel fiber and the concrete strength,the shear bearing capacity of the steel fiber reinforced high-strength concrete shear wall with concrete filled steel tube columns has a significant improvement.Through the experimental research and the theoretical analysis,the relative calculation methods for shear bearing capacity of steel fiber reinforced high-strength concrete shear wall with concrete filled steel tube columns were proposed based on softened strut-and-tie model and some standards of China.
