As a kind of widely used artificial construct material,the durability of concrete has been paid more and more attention by researchers at home and abroad.The main reasons for the damage of reinforced concrete structures include chloride ion,sulfate plasma corrosion,carbonation,acid medium corrosion and water damage.The inherent mechanism of t he durability of concrete structure is that the migration of harmful substances produced by the chemical reaction of concrete materials and the environmental medium in the concrete pores and cracks.The migration process leads to the deterioration of physical and chemical properties of concrete,which leads to the decrease of the bearing capacity of the structure,the cracking and the appearance of the damage.This study is in the light of the damage of reinforced concrete in the inverted siphon project of the south to North Water Diversion Project,and the field inspection and analysis of the project were carried out.According to the test results,it can be seen that the influence of environmental water on the concrete erosion mainly exists in the concrete surface and sulfate intrusion on concrete is limited,and the erosion of inverted siphon concrete belongs to typical solution erosion.In this project,the wastewater from the chemical industry creates a strong acid environment.The reasons for the corrosion of reinforced concrete in this project include the erosion of carbon dioxide,water,acid erosion and sulfate and acid erosion plays a leading role.Some special measures should be taken to prevent and remedy the erosion of concrete members.At present,the most widely used measures are concrete surface coating.In the light of surface treatment of inverted siphon concrete,we compare the four options and the options are Epoxy asphalt anticorrosive coating,PVC ointment coating,spray polyurea and high permeability modified epoxy anticorrosive coating.Comprehensively considerate function,cost and applicability,we recommend use high permeability modified epoxy anti-corrosion coating as a corrosion repair materials a nd it has been applied in practical engineering.
